Support / help post ITA

Once you get the invite to apply i.e. post-ITA, you get in the process of preparing your documents. You may need information/ some help along the way. Couple of things to be aware -
1) CIC website has FAQs and relatively great documentation for different categories. Go thru the site carefully and pay attention to detail.
2) The CIC number didn't work for us from USA. Calling the helpline might not be worth your time.
3) Join a WhatsApp group with co-applicants. For example, myimmitracker.com is a site where Canadian PR aspirants update their timeline. The admin will approve your request. Like with everything else, there are pros and cons.
a) Pros - PR Aspirants around the world join this group and so you get immediate responses should you get stuck along the way. Tons of moral support too.
b) Cons - You might always not get the best response and so verify it from other sources too. When in doubt, always verify.
The official SLA of express entry is 6 months. However, some people might get PRs in few weeks or some might take longer. Either ways don't get disheartened. Don't compare timelines or draw conclusions from good or bad news that people convey.  Each case is different.
POST-AOR - After submitting your documents, you are in this stage.  You are ultimately wait for CIC's communication i.e. additional info or golden email.
4) Always monitor your email and check your spam folder too. We didn't face this issue but for a few friends the email was in the spam folder.
5) Should you have an update in your situation eg: got an offer letter from employer then you can send a note to CIC via IRCC web form. Their SLA is about 5 business days. If it has been more than 4 months and you haven't got any update on your case then you can try contacting CIC via the web form. If you movement but slower than other aspirants, keep your calm and trust the process. Every case is different and some will get processed faster. Do not try to draw any patterns on why someone got the golden email sooner because there are none!
You have this blog for help and reach out in case of queries.  Good luck post-ITA
